3.1. Set Up the Bits

Download the HDP Installer:

wget http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP-1.2.0/tools/HDP-gsInstaller-1.2.0.21.tar.gz

Expand the archive on the single host machine (also referred as the master-install-location in this document):
