1. Downloading the HDP Installer

Download the HDP Installation zip, and extract the files. The zip contains the following files:

HDP MSI installer
Sample clusterproperties.txt file
Compression files:
- hadoop-lzo-0.4.19.2.1.1.0-1621.jar
- gplcompression.dll

Optional, when implementing HDFS compression download the LZO compression DLL from here.
